Today I get back to the blog world after a long
absence, due to family surgery, and we are
happy to report all is better right now.
I wanted to recognize something dear to me
deserts and National Cheesecake Day 2013.
I would love to get a slice, and since a picture
is worth a 1000 words come on and wish for me.
Please thank me later cause, you and I are just
window shopping, and leaving the trouble and calories
on line. Now will I get some next time in Atlanta, of
course, and that is with one for the road. Is that a lack
of control- correct, shut the front door.
Watch out, Sesame Street, there's a new Cookie Monster in town. According to Toledo News Now, Tarra Kopp, troop manager of cookie sales for a Girl Scout group in Toledo, Ohio, is accused of being the latest offender to get caught with a hand in the proverbial Girl Scout cookie jar. The 32-year-old allegedly stole more than $10,000 worth of cookie money. Kopp repeatedly refused to turn in the money to the organization, and when the police got involved, they said she was found to have withdrawn $11,986 from the Girl Scout troop's bank account.
Sunday my family and I went to a local Captain D's fish
establishment and got sub standard service. We ordered
three dinners for dine in on the same ticket, and yet at
the point of delivery one meal was in a to go box. I asked
how this could happen and the employee said he did not know.
Upon seeking a correction and food being placed on a plate
we were told, it would be a few minutes.Knowing this was not
an option, I asked for my money back, and they could not
refund my payment unless I gave them the exact amount
of change from the forty dollars the transaction started with.
This was painful, and totally unprofessional, thus I have elected
to avoid any and all Captain D's in Columbus.
